Suzdal is a place where time seems to slow down, and beauty surrounds us at every turn. It is the perfect location for historical shoots, immersing us in an atmosphere of antiquity.
We were fortunate with the weather: a frosty night blanketed the ground in snow, and the river began to freeze. Wooden cottages, majestic churches, and snow-covered streets—every frame here is infused with the spirit of the past. We wandered through the town, catching the soft rays of the winter sun and feeling a deep connection to history.
Russian folk costumes are a true art form, embodied in fabrics and patterns. Each element—be it a fur coat, dress, kokoshnik, or scarf—tells its own unique story about the time, place, and the artisans who created this beauty. Our girls, dressed in these outfits, looked like real heroines from Russian fairy tales and epics.
The photographs turned out warm and vibrant, capturing the joy, tranquility, and that elusive Russian soul that is so difficult to convey in words.
Immediately upon arrival, I purchased a luxurious Pavlovsky Posad shawl and Orenburg down shawls. I have a samovar, so we can arrange a wonderful photoshoot in the Russian style.
Thank you to everyone who became a part of this project! Special thanks to Elena Shumilova for the beauty of Suzdal and the warm evenings spent with passionate people who have become true friends.
Dear Friends, I wish you warmth and bright moments this spring!
