I don’t know a single person who has never been to the village as a child.
We all remember with nostalgia the smell of fog, the aromas of herbs and wild berries, the splash of caught fish in a bucket, hot shanezhki baked by grandma. We enjoyed all the little things. As children, we were carefree and happy. Childhood memories warm us, help us feel happiness in every moment of our live.
These photos were taken in Tver region during the Elena Shumilova’s photo tour “The Edge of Lakes”. Our main models Arina and Petya helped us to return to our rural childhood.
