I like to savor. I prefer to eat a “yummy”, read a good book or watch a good movie not immediately, but enjoying the moment in a calm atmosphere. As a child, I often got an empty can of condensed milk with two punched holes: my sister drank everything while I was waiting for the right moment :) Now it’s time to savor the processing of photos from a June jeep trip to the Mukhinsky Gorge with @TeberdaMagic. The Mukha River, a tributary of the Teberda River in Karachay-Cherkessia originates from Mukhinsky lakes, formed due to the melting of glaciers of the Main Caucasian Ridge, is the northern border of the Teberdinsky Reserve. A dirt road runs through mountains and valleys, the forest is replaced by meadows and pastures. Different grasses bloom in June. How beautiful is Karachay-Cherkessia with its mountain landscapes, forests, pastures with herds of horses, goats, sheep, cows! Mountain lake Shobaidak is located at an altitude of almost 3 kilometers above sea level. The water in the lake is very cold. The snow on the surrounding mountains melts only by the end of summer. All these mountain slopes are covered with colorful carpets of primroses in June.
I will continue my story and will tell about beautiful pasture and lovely animals in a next article…
