When spring melancholy tries to pull you into its embrace, the best remedy is to embark on a journey to the ends of the earth! I chose the southern shore of the Arctic Ocean — Murmansk and Teriberka. Becoming a polar explorer, witnessing the magical Northern Lights, taking an outing into the Barents Sea, and meeting seals — these are moments when dreams turn into reality, filling the heart with delight. Strolling along the beach of Teriberka, encountering huskies and reindeer allows one to forget the everyday hustle and bustle — it’s incredible!

But that’s not all. The Kola Peninsula offers not only stunning landscapes but also exquisite seafood cuisine. A fish soup made from several types of fish warms the soul, the freshest Kamchatka crab, tender sea urchins, and juicy scallops create a gastronomic symphony. Each taste is a separate story, full of aroma and freshness. Our guide Grigory poetically told us about the marine inhabitants and how and with what they are eaten.

We hurried to leave Teriberka (unfortunately, without the most delicious breakfast) as the road was closing due to a snowstorm. And if you don’t like the weather outside, imagine that in Murmansk it can change every minute: a snowstorm can be replaced by bright sunshine, then a hurricane wind can return and cover the sky with clouds. What can I say about synchronized swimming among the ice of the Kola Bay in neoprene rescue “space suits”? It was unforgettable! We laughed until we cried while reviewing the photos and videos taken by our wonderful guide Grigory from the “Arctic Dreams” team.

I wholeheartedly thank the Arctic Dreams team! Tours to the Kola Peninsula, Teriberka, and all the fellow polar explorers for these unforgettable experiences! I admire Grigory’s knowledge of nature and history, and his sincere desire to share the harsh northern beauty with us. Thank you, Grigory, for the wonderful photos! If you are looking for a way to lift your spirits and recharge your emotions, I highly recommend embarking on this amazing journey to the Arctic Dream!
